WINDANG SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB – FOUNDED IN 1957

Windang Surf Life Saving Club is one of 17 surf clubs in the Illawarra region, from Helensburgh Stanwell Park in the north to Windang in the south.  Windang Surf Life Saving Club was formed in 1957 by a dedicated group of volunteers wishing to ensure the local community and the many visitors to the area, experience a safe surf environment.

The club has trained countless lifesavers & community members in ocean rescue techniques, emergency care, beach management, and power craft and development of the Nipper lifesaving movement.

Our Surf Club provides activities & involvement for males & females, youth to senior ages and caters for all interests and personal abilities. The environment that our surf club fosters provides the society with exceptional leaders, the workplace with highly skilled employees and the community with socially responsible citizens.
